WELCOME TO MOLTEN12
Welcome Address
Dear Colleagues,
The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to the Ninth International Conference on Molten Slags, Fluxes and Salts (MOLTEN12) on 27-30 May 2012 in Beijing, China.
The Conference will focus on ferrous, and non-ferrous metallurgy where ionic melts, slags, fluxes or salts play important role. Special emphasis will also fall in the area of low carbon technologies for environment protection. The topics of technique program can be found elsewhere on this First Announcement of MOLTEN12. The program schedule includes symposia, poster sessions and an industrial exhibition. The Conference is expected to be attractive, and provide a meeting place for the leading scientists and industrialists of the world.
The conference will be held in Beijing. Beijing as the capital of China, is its education, technology and science centre, concentrates many universities, research institutes, museums. As the capital for six dynasties in China’s long history, many famous historical sites are located in Beijing too. In addition to technique program, a varied social program is planned for all participants and their companions.
