General Information

The 6th International Conference on High Strength Low Alloy Steels (HSLA Steels’2011) is a continuation of the 5 previous HSLA Steels Conferences held successfully by The Chinese Society for Metals.

Driven by increasing demands for rapid urbanization and many large-scale infrastructure projects, the development of HSLA Steels has been defined as one of the important programs of accelerating the optimization and upgrading of the steel industrial structure in China. Meanwhile, new technologies in application, processing and physical metallurgy of HSLA Steels have been achieved in the world. With the tremendous progress of HSLA Steels in the past 40 years, it is of the great interest to seek the possibility of increasing strength, improve the fabrication and service performances, simplify process and reduce the costs

The organizer sincerely wishes that the conference will be providing an excellent venue for all participants from different countries to meet your friends and set up new connections for your development. Since Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, many great changes have taken place in Beijing.
